Book of Signs

Dear Parents,

Next week, your child will be making a book of signs at school. They will be allowed to use different forms of media. Your child can draw the traffic signs. You may look for signs on the internet and print them at home. You can even take your child around the neighborhood and take a picture of your child with traffic signs. If you choose to send traffic signs/ media with your child, they need to be at school by Wednesday, January 25. Some traffic signs we will be learning about are: stop sign, yield sign, speed limit signs, railroad crossing signs, traffic light, one way signs, street name signs, crosswalk signs, fire station signs, and hospital signs. Make this as fun and as creative as you wish. The working at home part of this assignment is completely optional. Your child will be creating the BOOK at school during class time.
