Look What We Did!!!

On Monday, each class celebrated Johnny Appleseed's Birthday. For science, we showed how heat changes apples by cooking our own applesauce. This is what the finished product looked like. It was Yummy!!

Dress Up Day Next Friday!!

Next week in Language Arts, we will be studying families. To celebrate on Friday, October 7, we are encouraging each kindergarten student to " Dress like their Mom or Dad."

We will be visiting the library on Friday, Sept. 30. Please make sure your library book is in your backpack so you can check out a new book!!

Dress Up Day - Friday, Sept. 30

GFAA is having Professional Team Jersey Day on Friday. Wear your favorite team jersey tomorrow. Students do not have to follow shirt "dress code" if they are wearing a team jersey.

Also Kindergarten is celebrating the letter Mm by wearing a mask to school on Friday. No scary mask please!

Show-n-Tell***** Wednesday, Sept. 28

This week we are focusing on the letter Mm. To celebrate the /m/ sound, bring a MUSICAL INSTRUMENT to school for show-n-tell. It might be an instrument you have laying around the house. It might be a toy instrument. It MIGHT be an instrument that you MAKE!!!! We will have fun looking and listening to every one's different instrument.

Johnny Appleseed Day

On Monday, September 26, we will celebrate Johnny Appleseed's birthday.  Please have your child bring 2 apples to school on Monday.  If your child has overalls, please encourage them to wear them on that day.  Our entire day will consist of apple activities!
